3. Requirements
Education: Appropriate NQF Level 2 qualification or ABET certificate.
Skills: * Basic numeracy and literacy.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Knowledge: * Understanding of various cleaning consumables.
Operation of cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaners, polishers, etc.).
Basic understanding of Health and Safety requirements and the correct use of cleaning chemicals.
4. Key Duties
Maintain general cleanliness of offices, corridors, elevators, and boardrooms.
Dust and wax furniture; sweep, scrub, and wax floors.
Vacuum carpets and clean windows and walls.
Daily removal of waste inside and outside the building.
Clean and tidy toilets; replenish toilet rolls, soap, and air fresheners.
Wash crockery and cutlery.
Report broken equipment (e.g., microwaves or vacuum cleaners) to supervisors.
