Role Overview
This internship is specifically designed for N6 Human Resource students who require practical workplace experience to obtain their National Diploma. While covering the full HR function, the role places a primary emphasis on Training and Development, providing hands-on exposure to learning administration and facilitation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training & Development (Primary Focus):
Analysis: Assist in conducting training needs analysis using WSPs, skills plans, and performance data.
Coordination: Support the planning of internal and external training programs and workshops.
Logistics: Manage venue preparation, equipment setup, and facilitator support.
Administration: Prepare training materials (presentations, registers) and capture data for compliance audits.
Content: Assist in developing learning content, worksheets, and e-learning support materials.
2. General HR Exposure (Secondary Focus):
Recruitment: Assist with advertising, screening, and scheduling interviews.
Onboarding: Support the induction and onboarding administration for new hires.
HR Admin: Manage filing, document control, and updates to the HR Information System (HRIS).
Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor legislation and confidentiality standards.
Minimum Requirements
Education: * Matric (Essential).
N6 Human Resource Management (Essential – must require 18 months of workplace experience for Diploma completion).
TVET College Affiliation: Must be registered with a TVET College and able to provide a Workplace Integration Letter (WIL).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Competencies: Strong facilitation and communication skills, high attention to detail, and a professional work ethic.
