2. Placement Locations

Successful applicants may be placed at various SAB production sites across South Africa, including:

  • Chamdor, Alrode, Rosslyn, Polokwane, Prospecton, Ibhayi, and Newlands.


3. Minimum Entry Requirements

  • Education: Grade 12 (Matric) with a pass in both Mathematics and English.

  • Status: Must be currently unemployed at the time of application.

  • Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.

  • Commitment: Willingness to commit to a full 12-month program.

  • Advantageous: N3, N4, N5, or N6 technical qualifications and prior exposure to a manufacturing or technical environment.


4. Key Responsibilities & Learning

  • Machinery Operation: Learn to operate and monitor high-speed packaging equipment.

  • Quality & Safety: Follow strict food safety standards, hygiene protocols, and quality assurance checks.

  • Theory: Complete classroom-based learning on packaging principles and production workflows.

  • Problem Solving: Learn to identify and report production faults and work within a team-based environment.
