Stipend Structure
EPWP Educators: R4,000 per month
EPWP Site Coordinators: R4,300 per month

Available Positions & Minimum Requirements
1. EPWP Jozi Ihlomile Educators
Core Duties: Conducting door-to-door public health education; raising awareness around HIV/AIDS, TB, STIs, substance abuse, and Gender-Based Violence (GBV); supporting vulnerable households and referring residents to local clinics/support services.
Requirements:
Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
Foundational knowledge of HIV/AIDS, TB, STIs, and pressing community social issues.
Good verbal communication, report writing, and basic numerical skills.
Ability to operate digital/electronic devices to log field data.
Aged between 18 and 35 years.
2. EPWP Jozi Ihlomile Site Coordinators
Core Duties: Supervising field activities and monitoring Educator performance; coordinating community outreach teams; compiling regional reports; executing quality assurance; and liaising with Regional Health officials.
Requirements:
Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF Level 4 qualification.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in HIV/AIDS door-to-door community education or public health programs.
Demonstrated basic leadership, administrative, and supervisory abilities.
Computer literate (ability to use emails, internet frameworks, and database logging applications).
Aged between 18 and 35 years.
3. EPWP Jozi Ihlomile Data Coordinators
Core Duties: Capturing operational health data arrays collected from the field, managing regional databases, validating data metrics, and ensuring accurate reporting structures.
Requirements: Grade 12 with specific computational skills, high data-capturing accuracy, and administrative proficiency as outlined by municipal tracking parameters.
Critical Geographic & Residency Constraints
This recruitment process strictly prioritizes local community deployment. Applicants are only permitted to apply for positions within the specific municipal ward where they permanently reside. The initiative covers designated wards across all seven Johannesburg zones:
Region A: (e.g., Rabie Ridge, Kanana, Kaalfontein, Diepsloot, Ebony Park, Riverside)
Region B: (e.g., Pennyville, Slovo Park, Sophiatown, Windsor, Ferndale)
Regions C, D, E, F, and G contain similarly mapped local ward openings.
