Requirements
NQF Level 1 qualification or ABET Level 4 certificate (or equivalent).
No prior work experience required – entry-level opportunity.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
Teamwork skills and willingness to work under pressure.
Duties
Road Workers will:
Repair potholes and seal cracks.
Perform road surfacing and re-gravelling.
Construct and maintain culverts and stormwater drainage systems.
Clean sidewalks, reserves, and rest areas.
Install and repair road signs and markings.
Maintain road furniture, guardrails, and fencing.
Operate hand tools and small equipment safely.
Assist with traffic accommodation during maintenance projects.
