Key Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance on plant electrical equipment

• Breakdown maintenance to restore production quickly

• Install and repair electrical systems and equipment

• Assist with plant improvements and projects

• Ensure compliance with ISO, HACCP, 20 Keys, Astral Code of Ethics

• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams

Minimum Requirements

• Qualified Electrician with N3 Certificate

• Completed apprenticeship + Trade Test Certificate

• 3+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing/production

• Basic knowledge of PLC systems

• Own reliable transport

• Willingness to work overtime/standby

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Wireman’s Licence

• Experience in animal feed manufacturing

• Residence in/around Paarl or willingness to relocate

• Multi‑skilled maintenance background
