Key Responsibilities
Diagnose faults on electro-mechanical sub-assemblies using diagnostic software and test equipment.
Record diagnostic findings, fault codes, and root cause information.
Repair and refurbish assemblies (replacement, rework, recalibration).
Perform basic soldering and de-soldering on PCBs.
Test assemblies against approved specifications.
Maintain accurate job cards, repair histories, and traceability records.
Follow ESD-safe handling practices and SHEQ requirements.
Escalate recurring or design-related faults to the Senior Engineer.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Matric with Mathematics & Physical Science (essential)
Electrical/Electronic Engineering (N4–N6), Mechatronics, or related qualification (completed or in progress)
Experience:
0–2 years in electro-mechanical repair, assembly, or testing
Exposure to soldering, test instruments, or fault-finding advantageous
Training: Full mentorship and diagnostic software training provided

Mechanical & electronic aptitude
Attention to detail and disciplined fault-finding approach
Basic understanding of electronic circuits
Computer literacy and ability to use diagnostic software
Good communication skills for reporting and escalation
Team player, reliable, eager to learn
