Job Purpose
Assist plumbers with installations, repairs, and maintenance
Support water and sanitation services across municipal facilities
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
Ensure compliance with safety standards during plumbing tasks
Key Responsibilities
Carry tools, materials, and equipment to job sites
Assist with pipe installations, fittings, and fixtures
Perform basic plumbing repairs under supervision
Support leak detection and water flow testing
Maintain housekeeping in workshops and sites
Report faults and irregularities to supervisors
Minimum Requirements
Education: Grade 10 or higher (Matric advantageous)
Experience: Exposure to plumbing or general maintenance preferred
