Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12, N3 Technical Qualification, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and graphical presentations.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to understand and follow technical and safety instructions.
- Physical and medical fitness to work in a workshop or underground environment.
- Strong teamwork and safety awareness.
The following will be advantageous:
- First Aid Level 1 Certificate.
- Previous workshop or manufacturing experience.
- Experience working with mechanized mining equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified artisans with equipment servicing, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Support preventative and breakdown maintenance operations.
- Conduct visual inspections of machinery and equipment.
- Report defects, damages, and maintenance concerns.
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and workshop areas.
- Use the correct tools and equipment for assigned tasks.
- Assist with technical readings and equipment information collection.
- Communicate machine conditions and maintenance requirements to artisans and supervisors.
- Support daily maintenance and operational activities.
- Follow company procedures and maintenance standards.
- Assist with other maintenance-related duties as required.

- Identify and report unsafe conditions and hazards.
