Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 2 to 3 years of milling industry experience
- 6 months to 1 year experience working as a Decanter
Advantageous
- Previous experience in a food production environment
- Experience handling raw materials
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
- Ability to work shifts and overtime when required
Main Duties
- Decant raw materials into designated bins
- Remove strings and contaminants from materials during processing
- Inspect materials and products for defects
- Assist with packing, lifting, and moving loads up to 25 kg
- Complete packing sheets and production documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area
- Report defects, hazards, and operational issues
- Follow production procedures and safety regulations
- Support smooth operation of the Promix department
