Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- 1 year cleaning experience will be an advantage
- Knowledge of Blue Drop requirements will be an advantage
- Exposure to water treatment or water purification processes will be beneficial
- Good communication skills
- Basic numeracy skills
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping across the plant
- Clean engine rooms, control rooms, battery rooms, toilets, switchgear rooms, and other plant areas
- Report unsafe acts and hazardous conditions
- Assist process controllers with pump operations
- Open and close suction and delivery valves
- Take water samples
- Operate pipeline isolation valves when required
- Assist with unloading chlorine drums and ammonia following safety procedures
