Job Summary:

We’re seeking a General Assistant to join our team in Blackheath. The role involves ensuring the proper reception, storage, and maintenance of equipment. Reporting to the Supervisor and Manager, the position requires flexibility in working various shifts, including Sundays and Public Holidays.

Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and equipment storage.
Safely handle and store all equipment.
Prepare third-party equipment for return.
Meet accuracy and productivity targets set by Operations Management.
Operate heavy equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
Conduct daily stock counts and equipment inspections.
Ensure security of company assets.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Perform other equipment-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Matric qualification.
Proficiency in English.
Clear criminal record.
Preferences:

South African candidates within 15km of the job site.
Minimum 1 year experience as a General

Assistant in a warehouse environment.

Job Description: As a Cashier, you play a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Your responsibilities include handling transactions accurately, maintaining the cleanliness of the till area, and providing exceptional customer service. Reporting directly to the Till Supervisor, you’ll be expected to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate electronic point of sale system, including attached scale
• Accurately ring up customer purchases and ensure correct change is given
• Maintain balanced cash up and handle various payment methods
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards at the till area
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service
• Possess knowledge of products and promotions
• Demonstrate effective communication and time management skills
• Work efficiently, particularly during peak hours

Requirements:

• Matric qualification
• Proficiency in English
• Clear criminal record

Preferences:

• Cashier experience
• Residing within 15km of the job location
• Minimum 1 year of cashier experience
