Coega Free Driver’s license

The Coega Development Corporation is offering a free driving license training program for unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 35. The program aims to help

individuals in the Eastern Cape obtain their driving permit, which is a crucial skill for entering the job market. The training is provided at no cost, but participants will be responsible for paying all fees related to booking tests and obtaining licenses.

The program is available in several locations, including Port Elizabeth, Uitenhage, Grahamstown, East London, Mthatha, Queenstown, Mbizana, and Lord Williams Town. Due to high demand, there is a waiting list, and applicants will be contacted and enrolled as space becomes available.

To apply, candidates must submit a completed application form along with copies of required documentation to the designated site for processing. This application does not guarantee automatic enrollment in the program.

The lack of a driver’s license can be a significant barrier to entry in the job market, particularly for those in rural areas or those who are poverty-stricken. Coega has recognized this gap and is taking steps to address it through its pioneering Driver Training Program. This initiative is a flagship project for the Coega Development Corporation, providing access to rural communities and helping those who do not have access to this essential skill.

The program is a great opportunity for young people to gain a valuable skill that can improve their employability and open up new opportunities. If you are interested in applying for the free driving license training program, please follow the instructions provided and submit your application as soon as possible.
