Purpose Statement
The role involves welcoming clients and coordinating branch flow through efficient queue management. You will provide excellent client service, assist clients at ATMs, and help them complete transactions via remote or self-service channels. This position serves as a foundation to gain the knowledge and skills required for future service consulting roles.
Key Responsibilities
Client Welcoming: Act as the first point of contact for clients entering the branch.
Queue Coordination: Manage branch flow to ensure efficient service delivery.
Self-Service Assistance: Assist clients with ATM transactions and digital/remote banking channels.
Service Excellence: Provide high-quality service to enhance the client experience.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Grade 12 National Certificate (Matric) or Vocational qualification.
Experience: No prior experience required.
Skills: * Basic calculation skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
Personal Attributes: Ambitious, keen to learn, and clear regarding career aspirations.
Conditions of Employment
Must have a clear criminal and credit record.
Must have detectable/recognizable fingerprints for Capitec’s internal electronic banking system.
Preferred/Ideal Criteria
Some experience in a client-facing retail, financial, or banking environment.
Knowledge of bank branch environments and Capitec Bank products/processes.
