Truworths is looking for a multi-skilled and dynamic individual to join their Retail Services team at the Head Office in Cape Town. This role combines high-level administration with event coordination and operational support.

2. Key Responsibilities

  • Workforce Management: Administer the company's workforce system, assist stores with queries, and close pay periods every Monday.

  • Reporting: Generate weekly HR training reports and yearly store performance reports.

  • E-commerce & Digital: Maintain e-commerce admin (promotions, store details) and update store information on Google.

  • Internal Programs: Manage the administration for the staff recognition program, capturing compliments and tracking points.

  • Event Coordination: * Sourcing and negotiating venues for country-wide roadshows.

    • Coordinating hotels, restaurants, and experiences for the annual staff recognition event.

    • Proposing content and presentations for events.

    • Managing travel coordination for events (3 times a year).

  • Communication: Coordinate the business’s annual communication publication.


3. Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Matric / National Diploma / Degree or a relevant qualification.

  • Admin Experience: At least 5 years of administrative experience.

  • Events Experience: At least 2 years of events coordination experience (can be part of the 5-year admin period).

  • Advantageous: Previous experience in a corporate or retail environment.
