2. Minimum Requirements
Education: Grade 12 (Matric) is essential.
Qualification/Experience: A Diploma in Warehouse Management OR a minimum of three years of warehousing experience.
Competencies: * Stock control and resource management skills.
Ability to plan and organize.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Supervisory and leadership potential.
Quality and customer orientation.
3. Key Responsibilities
Inbound/Receiving: Oversee receiving of goods according to Volvo procedures, ensuring accuracy and timely binning.
Outbound/Dispatch: Process customer orders, ensuring correct picking, packing, and distribution.
Stock Management: Perform daily perpetual stock counts, bin verifications, and investigate any discrepancies.
Credits: Manage the processing and filing of credit notes, ensuring return procedures (e.g., no electrical returns) are followed.
Exchange Parts: Physically receive, store, and prepare core/supplier returns for exchange parts.
Deliveries: Coordinate route planning and scheduling for customer deliveries and manage driver compliance.
Housekeeping: Maintain a neat, tidy, and secure warehouse environment (inside and outside).
Health & Safety: Ensure all personnel follow Volvo safety rules and regulations.
