Takealot Group (takealot.com, TFS, and Mr D) is seeking a talented Supply Chain & Logistics Intern to join their Distribution Centre in Johannesburg. This graduate program offers a rotation across various business units, providing deep exposure to the e-commerce supply chain environment.

2. Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Tracking stock levels, processing orders, and ensuring inventory records are 100% accurate.

  • Planning & Coordination: Assisting with outbound planning and managing production to ensure seamless Inbound, Outbound, and Dispatch operations.

  • Procurement Support: Working with the Sites and Services team to maintain supplier relationships and uphold Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Data Analysis: Interpreting operational data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for process improvement.

  • Dispatch Monitoring: Coordinating with distributors and partners to ensure timely shipments and deliveries.

  • Process Optimization: Helping develop strategies for cost reduction and more efficient supply chain workflows.


3. Minimum Requirements

  • Education: N6 in Supply Chain and Logistics or an equivalent discipline.

  • Skills:

    • Ability to analyze data and interpret consumer insights.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • Good organizational and time-management abilities.
