2. Key Learning Areas

Interns will be mentored by a SHE Specialist and gain experience in:

  • Risk Management: Assisting and guiding on Risk, Health, and Safety matters within a manufacturing environment.

  • Compliance: Learning the OSH Act and other relevant Safety and Security legislation.

  • Incident Investigation: Developing strong investigative skills to analyze safety data and situations.

  • Training: Learning how to facilitate safety training and lead health-related initiatives across different levels of the organization.

  • Planning: Formulating plans for future safety actions or needs within the Supply Chain function.


3. Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Currently studying toward or completed a Degree or Diploma in Safety Management.

  • Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.

  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Skills: * Strong communication and presentation abilities.

    • Effective time management and ability to multi-task.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.
