Minimum Requirements
A completed Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
Basic numerical literacy and clear communication skills in English (the primary language used for shift handovers and safety logging).
High physical fitness, stamina, and manual dexterity to manage lifting, packing, and extended standing periods on factory lines.
Absolute commitment to workplace safety, with the ability to follow strict industrial rules and protocols.
A clear criminal record (standard corporate background screening tracking applies).
Complete willingness to work a structured rotational shift system, including early mornings, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Advantageous: Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility, food processing plant, packaging line, or warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities & Learning Exposure
Assisting with the day-to-day operations of high-volume food processing, mixing, baking, or packaging lines.
Loading raw ingredients into processing units and moving finished pallets securely to the warehouse dispatch bays.
Packing, labeling, boxing, and counting inventory arrays to ensure full alignment with production logs and target frameworks.
Monitoring active conveyor tracking lines, identifying deformed packaging or damaged products, and reporting line anomalies instantly to the supervisor.
Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining machinery setups, conveyor belts, and factory floor spaces according to strict food safety codes.
Participating in daily safety briefing sessions and ensuring total compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act.
