Core Responsibilities
General Workers will perform cleaning and maintenance duties across municipal recreation centres and libraries, including:
Cleaning facilities, furniture, equipment, carpets, and cupboards
Removing refuse and maintaining hygiene standards
Cleaning paved and tarmac surfaces
Preparing turfgrass areas and watering flowerbeds
Raking grass clippings from lawns
Preparing venues for functions and events
Removing and storing furniture after events
Reporting damage and defects to supervisors
Following Occupational Health and Safety regulations
