Minimum Requirements

Previous mechanical maintenance experience (advantageous)

Fluent in English and one additional South African language

Reliable transport to and from work
Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays
Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct routine preventative maintenance on processing equipment
Inspect machinery to identify faults before breakdowns occur
Attend to unexpected equipment failures and production interruptions
Assist in repairing mechanical equipment to minimise downtime
Install new processing equipment when required
Perform maintenance work during weekends and after-hours if necessary
Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
Follow company maintenance procedures and safety standards
Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Support continuous improvement initiatives using the 20 Keys principles
