About the Project
The Eskom Air Quality Offset Project aims to improve household energy efficiency and reduce indoor air pollution in Emzinoni. Teams will work directly inside residents’ homes, carrying out upgrades such as electrical installations, roofing, painting, and carpentry.
Because employees will enter private households, mandatory police clearance, medical exams, and physical fitness assessments are required before deployment.

Requirements: Recognized Trade Test Certificate, proven site experience, safety knowledge, ability to work independently and in teams.
Semi-Skilled Assistants (16 positions)
Support artisans with daily tasks
Requirements: Previous construction/site experience, ability to use hand tools, good physical fitness, willingness to learn.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist with residential upgrade projects
Perform electrical installation and maintenance
Install/repair roofing structures
Carry out painting and finishing work
Complete carpentry tasks
Maintain safety standards inside occupied homes
Follow company procedures and meet project deadlines
Mandatory Vetting & Health Requirements
Police Clearance: Clean criminal record required
Medical Examination: Vision, hearing, lung function, blood pressure, and physical fitness tests
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform heavy manual labour and work at heights
General Requirements
Valid South African ID
Proof of residence in Emzinoni (advantageous)
Professional conduct when interacting with homeowners
Commitment to health and safety procedures
