Three positions are available, giving unemployed youth the chance to gain workplace experience, mentorship, and a monthly stipend while contributing to environmental and water management projects.

Purpose of the Programme

• Provide unemployed youth with hands‑on training in environmental operations.

• Develop skills in water management and sustainability practices.

• Offer mentorship and structured learning to prepare learners for permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with water operations and monitoring

• Support environmental projects and initiatives

• Participate in training workshops

• Maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards

• Collaborate with teams to achieve project goals

Minimum Requirements

• South African citizenship

• Age between 18 and 35 years

• Matric (Grade 12) certificate preferred

• Must be unemployed and not registered on another learnership

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Willingness to commit to the full 12‑month programme
