Candidate Requirements
Qualification: Trade Certificate in Boilermaking (NQF Level 4, 120 credits)
Experience: Completed practical training (no prior formal work experience required beyond trade test)
Skills:
Safety training and first aid
Firefighting knowledge
Computer literacy (basic software)
Clear communication and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on boilers and pressure vessels
Carry out corrective maintenance and repairs on plant equipment
Conduct inspections and condition monitoring
Maintain documentation and configuration records
Support work planning and scheduling activities
Ensure compliance with Eskom safety and technical standards
