Position Purpose
The Storeman ensures effective receiving, issuing, and safeguarding of materials and equipment at Ivanplats Mine. The role supports operational efficiency by maintaining accurate stock records, enforcing safety standards, and assisting with procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and inspect goods against delivery notes and purchase orders
Issue materials to departments and record transactions accurately
Maintain stock levels and conduct cycle counts
Ensure compliance with safety procedures in stores and warehouse areas
Assist with procurement and logistics coordination
Report shortages, damages, and discrepancies to supervisors
Keep stores clean, organised, and secure
Candidate Requirements
Qualification: Grade 12 (Matric)
Experience: 2–3 years in a mining or industrial stores environment
Skills:

Computer literacy (SAP or similar ERP systems)
