Minimum Requirements
- Relevant Paramedic qualification
- Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
- Ability to provide emergency medical care within scope of practice
- Knowledge of Advanced Life Support procedures where applicable
- Good understanding of emergency response protocols and patient management
Key Duties
- Respond to emergency and non-emergency medical calls
- Assess patients and provide appropriate emergency treatment
- Administer Advanced Life Support interventions when required
- Transport and hand over patients safely to healthcare facilities
- Complete patient report forms and required medical documentation
- Maintain emergency vehicles, equipment, and medical supplies
- Ensure compliance with healthcare, safety, and quality standards
- Participate in continuous professional development activities
