Candidate Requirements
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Registered or qualifying for possible registration at an approved South-African University or University of Technology for the following year
- Bursary offered to talented individuals who are planning to study full-time towards an undergraduate / postgraduate degree, to pursue selected Engineering, Science and Technology qualification for applicants nationally.
The Sasol Bursary will include the following:
- Registration fees
- Tuition fees (no payment for repeat modules)
- Book & pocket money
- Meal allowance
- Accommodation money (An amount equal to the average rate for accommodation in a single room at a University residence at which the Sasol bursar is studying.)
- A once-off Computer and Calculator allowance
- Work opportunities (with a work-back obligation/pay-back obligation) – based on Company needs
- Development opportunities (e.g. possible vacation work after completion of 2nd and 3rd academic year of study).
- Psyche-social support (Student discussions / Workshops / EAP – Employee assistance programme @ Sasol etc.)
