Sasol Mainstream Bursary Programme

 



Candidate Requirements

  1. Must be a South African Citizen
  2. Registered or qualifying for possible registration at an approved South-African University or University of Technology for the following year
  3. Bursary offered to talented individuals who are planning to study full-time towards an undergraduate / postgraduate degree, to pursue selected Engineering, Science and Technology qualification for applicants nationally.

The Sasol Bursary will include the following:

  1. Registration fees
  2. Tuition fees (no payment for repeat modules)
  3. Book & pocket money
  4. Meal allowance
  5. Accommodation money (An amount equal to the average rate for accommodation in a single room at a University residence at which the Sasol bursar is studying.)
  6. A once-off Computer and Calculator allowance
  7. Work opportunities (with a work-back obligation/pay-back obligation) – based on Company needs
  8. Development opportunities (e.g. possible vacation work after completion of 2nd and 3rd academic year of study).
  9. Psyche-social support (Student discussions / Workshops / EAP – Employee assistance programme @ Sasol etc.)
