Job Description:

The Technical Trainee Programme is an 18-month structured programme designed to equip graduates with technical skills and experience, familiarizing them with our company culture and principles.

The programme aims to ensure that upon completion, individuals can take on responsibility immediately.

Key Outputs and Responsibilities:

– Gain a full understanding of Utilities equipment theory, principles, and operation across the Brewery
– Participate in projects aligned to programme requirements and brewery priorities

– Apply VPO principles
– Diagnose and troubleshoot systemic and situational problems
– Participate in Utilities team structures, including acting roles in identified leadership positions
– Communicate learnings and solutions across various levels of the business

Profile:

– Minimum BSc or B-Tech Qualification in Mechanical/Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
– 2 years of Utilities Experience advantageous

Programme Overview:

The DynamX Trainee Programme is a 24-month program designed to grow and develop graduates by building technical capability aligned to their career aspirations while equipping them with cross-functional experience within a fast-paced corporate environment.

Programme Structure:

– 24-month program comprised of segmented fixed-term contracts
– Robust evaluations determine progression into each phase of the program
– 6-month rotational cycles in various teams within the respective business area
– 70-20-10 rule: 70% learning from challenging experiences and projects, 20% from developmental relationships, and 10% from coursework and training

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

– Exhibit passion, curiosity, courage, and resilience
– Collaborate with a global mindset and connect with people at all levels
– Contribute to teams enabling growth and broadening of categories
– Embrace fast-paced culture and innovate with an owner mindset

Profile:

– Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in various areas (Finance, People, Marketing, Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics)
– No more than 2 years of total full-time formal working experience by the program start date

– Completed bachelor’s degree from a recognized tertiary institution within the requisite timeframe
– Legal work authorization (full citizenship) in South Africa
– Geographical mobility within South Africa
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ability to quickly adapt to new systems
