Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, prioritize their needs, and handle questions or concerns.
Point of Sale (POS): Count money in cash drawers at the start of shifts, issue receipts, and provide correct change.
Cash Management: Ensure the float is counted, maintain sufficient change in the till, and accurately complete daily cash-up paperwork.
Operations: Ensure the till area and front-of-house are clean; ensure tills are operational with sufficient paper/ribbon.
Merchandising: Ensure resale stock is correctly displayed and that fridges and shelves are restocked daily.
General Support: Assist both front-of-house and back-of-house with orders and cleaning during quiet periods.
Requirements
Education: Must have completed Grade 12 / Matric.
Experience: Must have 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
Skills: * Confidence in handling money and controlling cash.
Excellent operational skills on POS systems.
Ability to work quickly, accurately, and honestly.
Strong clerical, administrative, and organizational skills.
Friendly, helpful, and detail-oriented personality.
