2. Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this program, you must meet the following baseline academic and regional requirements:

  • Education: A completed Grade 12 (Matric) with English and Mathematics as passed subjects.

  • Age: 18 to 30 years old.

  • Citizenship: South African citizen.

  • Employment Status: Currently unemployed.

  • Geographic Restriction: Must reside strictly within specific target wards of the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality.

    • Eligible Wards: Ward 16, 23, 30, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, and 60.

 Highly Advantageous Subjects: Having passed school subjects such as Computer Literacy, Accounting, Economics, or Business Studies will significantly boost your application status.


3. Key Training & Skills Covered

The learnership will train you in corporate and back-office management procedures, including:

  • Office administration and organizational skills.

  • Filing, archiving, and document control management.

  • Professional business communication (verbal and written).

  • Customer service and teamwork.

  • Digital and computer literacy essentials.


4. How to Apply

Even though this is an administrative learnership, having an Engineering student mindset or technical orientation helps. Mention your technical data handling skills (like MATLAB or logic sorting) in your CV—it shows you have the computational discipline to organize massive operational databases.
