Minimum Requirements
A completed Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
No previous formal work experience is required (entry-level public service track).
Core Systems Knowledge: Foundational understanding of the Unemployment Insurance Act, Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act (UICA), and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Public Sector Awareness: Familiarity with the Batho Pele Principles and standard public service regulations.
Core Competencies: Basic computer literacy, solid interpersonal relations, effective time management, planning, and organizational skills.
Language Proficiency: Clear verbal and written English communication skills.
Key Responsibilities & Core Duties
Providing high-level clerical and administrative support to the department's continuous recruitment and selection processes.
Executing general personnel administration support services for the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) office.
Rendering general daily clerical support services, managing document workflows, and capturing data accurately onto departmental systems.
Maintaining up-to-date filing tracking structures, processing staff documents, and handling fundamental HR enquiries from internal and external clients.
