Minimum Requirements
A completed Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
Basic computer literacy (proficiency across standard MS Office configurations).
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a clear ability to follow workplace instructions and collaborate within high-performance shift teams.
High level of personal responsibility, numerical accuracy, and operational reliability.
South African citizen between the ages of 18 and 35 with a clear criminal background record.
Advantageous: Holding or currently studying toward a relevant qualification or NQF diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Transport Management, or Business Administration.
Key Responsibilities & Learning Exposure
Learners interface with senior operations crews to master the logistics mechanics of a multinational petrochemical distribution model:
Developing core fundamentals in industrial supply chain operations, bulk warehouse logistics, and inventory management tracking.
Assisting with distribution parameters, transport vehicle coordination, and dispatch administration.
Handling stock movement verifications, validating delivery invoices, and capturing operational logistics records.
Learning to navigate enterprise database software systems used to monitor inventory levels and minimize distribution bottlenecks.
Adhering strictly to standard operating procedures and world-class Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) guidelines characteristic of petrochemical yards.
