About the Role
The Handyman will perform general repairs and maintenance across Clover’s facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Duties include basic plumbing, electrical work, bricklaying, plastering, tiling, and mechanical support.
Key Responsibilities
Perform elementary maintenance and repair work
Complete scheduled tasks using job cards
Collect parts from the maintenance store
Carry out basic electrical repairs
Bricklaying, plastering, tiling, and plumbing tasks
Repair fixtures and fittings (interior/exterior)
Assist with mechanical repairs
Inspect and test equipment according to schedules
Conduct audio-visual equipment inspections
Complete daily and monthly maintenance reports
Ensure safe work areas and follow Clover’s safety procedures
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification
Relevant maintenance experience
Experience applying job-related techniques
Ability to work with senior management
Fluent in Business English
Ability to work in extreme conditions
Must reside in Cape Town
