Minimum Requirements
Education: NQF Level 3, Grade 11 or equivalent qualification
Experience: 0–2 years in hospital laundry, factory, or similar environment
Skills:
Basic knowledge of industrial laundry machinery
Understanding of laundry procedures
Basic numeracy and literacy
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to plan, organise, and work in a team
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Operate and monitor industrial laundry equipment
Check water, air, and steam supply before operating tunnel machines
Clean tumble dryers and maintain work areas
Load soiled linen and monitor conveyor belts
Monitor clean linen released from dryers
Deliver processed linen to next workstation
Assist with unblocking tunnel washers when required
Monitor detergent pumps and complete work orders
Report faults and disturbances promptly
Working Conditions

Rotation between workstations
