Minimum Requirements
- South African citizen
- Under 35 years of age
- Studying or intending to study full-time
- Accepted or enrolled at an accredited institution
- Studying an approved qualification for the first time
- Minimum overall academic average of 70%
- Not employed full-time
- Studying in one of the approved fields

Additional Conditions
Successful bursary recipients will sign a sponsorship agreement with Astron Energy. The bursary includes a work-back obligation, requiring recipients to work for Astron Energy for one year for every year of bursary funding received.
