Minimum Requirements

• Grade 10, Grade 11, Grade 12, or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification. 
• Valid Blasting Certificate for Metalliferous Mines. 
• 2 to 3 years' Trackless Mining experience. 
• Experience with Trackless Mobile Machinery (TMM). 
• Experience in conventional development and stoping operations. 
• Hydropower drilling experience. 
• Valid Code 8-10 South African driver's licence. 
• South African citizen. 
• Clear criminal record. 
• Medically fit for underground mining work. 

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and control mining activities within the designated section. 
• Plan and oversee blasting operations. 
• Support achievement of production targets. 
• Supervise employees on stoping and development ends. 
• Conduct workplace inspections and identify hazards. 
• Ensure compliance with mining legislation and safety standards. 

Skills and Competencies

• Strong underground mining experience. 
• Knowledge of Trackless Mining operations. 
• Leadership and supervisory skills. 
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities. 
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
