Role Overview
Impact HR is seeking a dual-skilled professional capable of both driving delivery vehicles and operating a forklift. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe transport of goods and materials, as well as the loading and unloading of items within a warehouse or production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Transport & Delivery: Safely transport goods to and from designated locations in a timely manner.
Forklift Operation: Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, storage areas, and production lines while following all safety protocols.
Maintenance: Inspect vehicles and forklift equipment before and after use to ensure proper working condition.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pick-ups, and equipment maintenance.
Coordination: Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure client satisfaction.
Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, road regulations, and forklift safety guidelines.
Minimum Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Matric).
Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Experience: Proven experience as both a Driver and a Forklift Operator.
Physical Ability: Capability to lift heavy objects and operate machinery efficiently.
Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills; high attention to detail.
Attributes: Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Criteria
Prior experience working in a warehouse or logistics setting is considered an advantage.
