Job Purpose
To maintain an accurate Stock Ledger at the store level by identifying and correcting discrepancies, ensuring all stock movements are accounted for, and supporting the administration team in a fast-paced retail furniture environment.
Key Responsibilities
Stock Ledger Management: Analyse and identify problems or exceptions related to the stock ledger and take corrective action.
Accuracy: Ensure all stock movements (incoming and outgoing) are recorded accurately and on time.
Data Capture: Ensure all Service Department production is captured on the "Blue Cube" system.
Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels to ensure "in-stock" status at all times.
Receiving Checks: Conduct daily management checks on all received goods to verify accuracy against documentation.
Minimum Requirements
Education: National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
Experience: 1–2 years of related experience. Experience in a retail or furniture environment is highly desirable.
Skills: Basic knowledge of retail furniture operations (6–12 months experience preferred).
Desirable (Advantageous) Qualifications
Admin and Sales Management training.
Trainee Manager training.
Cost Control Diploma.
