The Foschini Group (TFG) is offering a life-changing first working experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) programme. This 12-month contract is based in their retail call centre in Cape Town and is designed for unemployed youth looking to enter the job market.

2. Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this YES opportunity, you must meet the following:

  • Age: 18 to 29 years old.

  • Education: Grade 12 (Matric) is preferred.

  • Work History: Must not have been employed permanently with a single employer for more than 1 year.

  • Study Status: Must not be studying full-time during the year of employment.

  • Previous YES Experience: Must not have participated in or been registered for a YES programme before.

  • Transport: Transportation to the workplace is for the applicant’s own account.


3. Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Excellence: Act as a brand ambassador, providing amazing customer experiences and identifying the best possible solutions for their needs.

  • Sales Performance: Actively track sales performance against targets and search for new sales opportunities.

  • Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with the latest décor and fashion trends across a diverse product range.

  • Support: Assist with stock replenishment and ensure readiness for customers.
