Role Overview
CCBSA is offering internship opportunities for graduates looking to build a career in Logistics. The intern will report directly to the Training Controller or Team Leader Warehouse and gain practical experience in supply chain coordination, stock management, and distribution processes.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Supply Chain Support: Assist with administrative and coordination functions related to Supply Chain Maturity Assessments.
Stock Management: Monitor stock flow through the Distribution Centre (DC)/Warehouse, record stock movements on management systems, and assist with stock-take procedures.
Warehouse Operations: Handle receiving of stock, maintaining stock balances, and ensuring appropriate packing in designated areas.
Distribution & Logistics: Support the safe delivery of stock to customers, manage contract documentation, and adhere to transportation policies.
Asset & Financial Management: Contribute to asset management and develop financial acumen within the logistics context.
Safety & Housekeeping: Comply with OHS legislation, handle emergency situations/hazards appropriately, and maintain high internal/external housekeeping standards.
Minimum Requirements
Education: * Grade 12 with a minimum of 40% in Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.
A Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or Transportation.
Competencies: * Strong attention to detail.
Excellent administrative skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively within a team.
